Your puppy needs to be between 9 weeks to 6 months of age. Puppies must have had a minimum of 2 parvo-distemper vaccines, and one kennel cough vaccine. It used to be that we didn't train puppies until they were 6 months old, but now we have learned that your puppy is ready to learn as early as 6 weeks. So waiting till the puppy is 6 months old wastes a lot of time and also allows the pup to learn a lot of bad habits ! The sooner you start training your puppy, the better pet he will become!
